Justice Mental Health were seeking to consolidate multiple western Sydney sites into an administrative client support & training western hub. Custance provided strategic facility planning services to establish a space and facilities forecast as well as a locational analysis for the proposed 2500sqm new office. Multiple sites/locations were inspected, assessed and two preferred sites were test fitted before the final selection of Olympic Park was confirmed.
Custance provided full interior design and project management services in delivering the new two floor office under tight time and budget constraints. The office layout moves JMH from predominantly private offices to a largely open plan, interactive environment, encouraging collaboration between previously separate business units. Graphics to glass walls feature references to mental health whilst the main staff breakout of training areas highlight sports related themes of the Olympic Park location. The two themes together complete the ‘healthy mind, healthy body’ reference to the support work the organisation performs.
‘We would like to convey our appreciation for all your hard work with the acquisition, design and fit out of our new Justice Health Offices at Sydney Olympic Park.
We are all very impressed with the final product, and appreciate that time, budget and our own knowledge constraints brought particular challenges that you met with professionalism and dedication.’
